Adam Fearon is proud to be a born-and-raised Memphian, and graduate of the University of Memphis, where he earned his degree in Corporate Finance with a minor in Business Administration. During his final semester, he was purposefully selected to participate in a competitive scholarship program at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in Nanchang, China - an opportunity made possible through the nomination of a University of Memphis professor who recognized Adam’s strong academic performance and leadership potential.
Adam began developing his professional expertise very early in life, gaining experience across a variety of business and financial leadership roles before stepping into executive leadership at the young age of 28. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary Treasurer of the Board for SOFTWARE INC dba Computers and Networks, a Memphis-based IT company. In that role, Adam was instrumental in guiding the company’s financial operations and played a key role in facilitating the successful sale of the business in 2023 at the request of its retiring owner. Following the acquisition, Adam continued serving as Finance Manager under the new ownership for about a year before later assuming the role of CFO for a Mississippi-based trucking and railroad company.
In September 2024, Adam joined Butler Sevier Hinsley & Reid, PLLC as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Office Manager. Adam oversees the firm’s financial management and operational administration, working closely with the attorneys and staff to ensure the firm runs efficiently and that clients receive the highest level of service. Known for his professionalism, love for others, and attention to detail, Adam takes immense pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for every client who interacts with the firm. Whether assisting with administrative matters, financial questions, or client support, he is committed to ensuring that each client’s experience with the firm reflects the firm’s dedication to professionalism, responsiveness, and care.
Outside the office, Adam is passionate in serving his community via his role as a Member of the Fayette County School Board, where he sits on the Finance and Policy committees, and fervently loves music, spending time with loved ones, volunteering at his church home, and staying engaged with business trends and current events. A former varsity ice hockey standout and MVP goaltender (Go Dragons), he brings the same focus, discipline, and drive to his professional life.
