Lisa J. Gill
Lisa J. Gill concentrates her practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, child custody/parental issues, child support, termination of parental rights, adoption, paternity and juvenile court matters.
She is licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Mississippi and is active in both States. She has represented clients in both states at the trial and appellate level. Lisa is active in her legal community and has served in various positions, including as the immediate past President of the Association for Women Attorneys – Memphis Chapter; the Judicial Reception Chair for the Memphis Bar Association Family Law Section, the Judicial Forum Chair for the Association for Women Attorneys 2014 Judicial Forum, as a Past President of the Northwest Mississippi Young Lawyers Division of the Mississippi Bar Association, and is also a former graduate of the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum. She was selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in both 2016 and 2017.
Lisa is a native Memphian who graduated from the University of Memphis magna cum laude in May 2006 with Bachelor’s of Professional Studies degree and went on to law school at the University of Memphis School of Law. Prior to becoming licensed as an attorney, she worked as a paralegal providing trial and litigation assistance and assisting in numerous bench and jury trials, both at the state and federal level.
